Macro photography, or extreme close-up photography is especially useful for display of smaller products such as the earrings that you see here and on the GennysGems site. With the use of a special lens it is possible to actually make the image larger than the original subject. This allows the viewer to see the fine details. It also has the effect of opening up new ways of seeing things like flowers.
